    PBA Exp

Okay folks, just finished the Viper pattern! I had much more success with this pattern compared to Cheetah. Averaged 176 for 9 games here. Last night shot a 575, not real high, but felt very good with what I was doing. Also used a new ball that I bought. Much more aggresive than my typical house equipment. I was able to play 5 and bring the ball into the pocket nicely. Cant wait till next week to see what they put out. Averaging 174 right now with 3 patterns left. My concentration is rapidly improving and my mechanics are getting better. I am feeling like a will take my game to the next level during fall league. I would recommend the PBA experiance or a Sport shot league  to anyone wanting to improve. Although the are difficult and offer not much margin for error, I am finding it worth my while and I am having a blast! Good Lcuk and Good Bowling!

    PBA Experience

Cheetah pattern. Well my summer PBA league started with the Cheetah pattern for the first 3 weeks. I did manage to average 171 for the 9 games we bowled on it. Unfortunately, I dont think the house I bowled oiled the lanes correctly. According to the tips by Mr. Barnes on bowling this pattern, the pros played outside the 5. Everyone in our leauge was playing mainly inside 10. The ball would not come back from the outside. HMMMMMMM.........I did however learn that my equipment is not drilled for those conditions. All my balls area drilled to go long and break late, which that is what they did, but they did not read the dry earlly enough. Definetly need a stronger ball. We will see what interesting challenges are provided next week on a different pattern, cant wait! Have to think about a new ball again, boy my significant other is going to be pissed......  ; )

I am cosidering a career move from Indiana to Ridgeland SC. Anybody have a scoop on the bowling in the area? Was looking on a web map and found 3 bowling centers near Ridgeland. Is there anyone from the surrounding areas that bowls near there?

    Truth Rolloff

    Monday, May 7, 2007, 09:24 AM [General]

Had a great time at the truth rolloff. Saw a lot of friends I dont get to bowl with or see very often anymore. I wasnt disappointed with the the way I bowlied but I wasnt happy either. Missed 3 spares in the second game that just killed my chances of making the the 5 man final. Shot 213, 170 and 212 for a 595 series. Tied me for 15th. The highest series was a 724 and qualified him first but all others that beat me were 650 or less. Maybe next year, but couldnt beat the fun had by all in a very tough house.

    PBA Experience

Started summer leauge last night, PBA Experience, oh what fun! Started on the Cheetah pattern, and didnt get lucky enough to be prepared for it. Went in not konwing what pattern we would be playing cause our league sec/tres got home from USBC Queens the night before. Anyway, started out with 200 then 164 and 157. Wasnt to pleased with my consistency but just got tired from working to much. Next week I will be better prepared with right equipment and I'll know what the pattern is. Also will be checking the the pro tips from Barnes on the web. Cant hurt. I was also invited to the local end of the year tourney, The Truth Rolloff, and will be bowling in that tomm. The tourney brings together the bowlers fromm the county that were able to produce some of ther best serieses of the year. This is my first time at this and I will be going against the best of the area, should be a blast. We'll see how I do considering it will be located at one of the toughest house in our county. Bye for now and good bowling!
