    Just out checkin on my Bowlspace friends.
    Hope your having a little better luck in your PBA Experience league. As far as the differences in play.... Sometimes the volume of oil will vary... sometimes the condition of the bowling surface makes the shots play different, for example I played outside in the Boise regional 4-8 board, we bowled on the Scorpion pattern which says “This pattern typically has no real defined hook area, so if the surface has a dominant characteristic(usually the track area), we play there. If not, pick the part
    of the lane you are most comfortable
    playing.”
    The second-lowest scoring pattern in 2004-05.
    Anyways that is my thought on the patterns playing differently.

    Welcome to the PBA Experience patterns.
    I found that surface of the ball had a bigger effect than the actual layouts.
    I hope your signifigant other is a forgivin person 8)
